I had a conversation yesterday. Apparently, it wasn't a conversation some people never thought I'd have. I'm going to go out of my way not to name names here but those who are involved will automatically know what and who I'm talking about.

First, one has to keep in mind that this crowd in the NS scene loves propaganda. I think sometimes their definition of it is saying ANYTHING, no matter how fantastic, to make themselves look good and their enemies bad. I think thats normally bad long-term but they seem to live and die by it.

So I am talking to another well known NS figure on the American scene. He's saying how things are beyond getting off to a slow start with a particular group and he's starting to wonder if they will ever do anything more than collect applications. The only event he was able to say that went over with any sucess was one that an individual said drew 75 people.

My jaw dropped. I had been at this event. The event in question drew maybe...maybe 12-14 people, probably more like 10. Someone had crossed the line of "propaganda" and pure out lied to my friend. I was livid. This group, or rather this individual, has had a long history of telling people things like a particular group has 10,000 members or another group was staffed top to bottom by doctors and lawyers (not necessarily a good thing in my opinion). We've all put up with it for a number of reasons. The lie of 75 people being at this gathering was way over the line though.

This lie was not told to the media or posted where antis could read it---this was told over the phone to a comrade. MB makes us mad but lies make us furious. My question is, am I wrong to be pissed and I mean royally pissed? This was a buddy lying to another buddy who has been doing all he can to promote the interests of the guy who told the lie. What kills me is that apparently this person (lie teller) didn't think the subject would ever come up between myself and this individual. Where do we stop lying to the media (since they ONLY lie about us) and come back to the realm of the often sad truth with our friends? Is a lie a lie and one told to the press/enemy the same as one you fucking told to a comrade? Whats everyone's take on this?
