I'm 72 and have been diagnosed with prostate cancer. it's my second cancer (skin was the first), so I'm getting the easy ones so far. My blood PSA was high, and I have a high risk level, so I talked to my urologist, and removal will be in January. I decided against radiation...just get it out. of course this means goodbye to semen, but I wasn't doing much in that department, anyway.
If anyone's had prostate c., I'd like to hear about your experience, and I'm not feeling too peachy about life with a catheter.
I'm pretty much ready for it.
