Also, Hitler's decision to lose the war on purpose was the topping on the cake, but it was obliviously all part of the plan.

Letting 330,000 troops just simply walk away at Dunkirk was an ingenious idea from Hitler. I guess he thought he would gain sympathy for his cause right? I have no idea.

And then you have the delayed Operation Barbarossa, which could have happened earlier, but did not because Hitler demanded he wanted his new fancy toys to invade Russia. This allowed Stalin to fortify Russia's defenses and deliver the final blow to the German War Machine.
