Is there anywhere where I can find out about rallies in the southeast? Also, what is this boards view of the National Vanguard? I don't want to be part of any organization with a membership list, but at the same time, I don't want to show up to a rally with guys in costumes. Any comments, suggestions or ideas?

The SPLC is so full of shit. They list the League of the South as a hate group?! This is the same bunch that withdrew its endorsement for White Revolution's effort to bring hurricaine relief to White people in the Gulf region because they didn't want to be associated with a 'racial' organization.

I commend you for wanting to "get active". Unless you're a lone wolf, it's pretty hard to stay anonymous these days if you plan on joining an established WN group that regularly "hits the streets". On the flip side, there are fewer reasons today to remain anonymous unless you are worried about being fired from your job. If it is your constitutional right to protest, then there is nothing to worry about regarding the law.

I have been a member of National Vanguard and I can tell you the people I have met have been top notch. I recently left the organization because of a lack of leadership and direction from the top. I also paid money in advance for 50 copies of a publication that is now 6 months late in materializing. NV, in my opinion, seems to be moving more towards the mainstream. Once in a while, they'll mention or quote Dr. Pierce on their website, but that is it.

If you consider yourself a National Socialist, then the NSM would be a good fit for you. They are well-organized, growing fast, and rally often. You don't have to wear a uniform if you don't want to. If you have a problem just being SEEN with those who choose to wear a uniform, then you may want to look elsewhere.

By your post, it appears you are ready to stick your toe in the water. You can play it safe with NV for now and then move on to something with a little more bite when you are ready. Good luck to you, my friend. :cheers:

You know I never thought of it but you are right. The further south you get in WV the safer it is and more symbols there is. The further north the more crime and no symbols.

The map itself could be out of date. They show the JDL active up in Fairbanks, and I've never heard of any JDL activity up there. They also show the National Alliance active in Anchorage, but they've gone dormant ever since David Pringle left town 2 years ago.

At least the list of rallies is up to date.

However, National Vanguard has a lot of ways for people to contribute and their message is very professional and increasing in quality and a rapid pace. As far as I know, they do not currently have membership lists(I actually saw some complaints about that). Either way, like the Alliance they would probably let you join under an alias, or at least have an alias on any list they might compile.

NV sends out dues statements. You can't do that without a membership list. They are so mainstream these days, I wouldn't worry about using an alias for membership purposes.
