Phoenix Winterfest Raises Spirits and Consciousnesses

On December 16, 2006, the Phoenix unit of National Vanguard held its first annual Winterfest. This overshadowed the group's 2005 Eurofest with more intricate advance planning. The results were quite obvious!

Evan Thomas of National Vanguard Michigan opened with a stirring `Call to Celebration' on bagpipes. Phoenix Unit Coordinator, Jesse Curnow, serving as Master of Ceremonies for the evening, welcomed the nearly 80 attendees.

The first speaker was Friedrich ("Fritz") Berg, a retired mechanical engineer and holocaust revisionist. Berg began publicizing the Jewish holocaust myth in 1983 with a speech at a National Alliance convention in Chicago. He has written numerous essays which technically dissect the holocaust in the Journal of Historical Review and The Revisionist. Berg has also been on several radio and TV shows. His slogan is "Nazi Gassings Never Happened", and his website is http://www.nazigassings.com.

Berg called the holocaust, "the new religion," and its critical analysis through revisionist studies a "Pandora's box." He condemned the Iraq war, because it aligns America alongside Israel. Berg then introduced one of his historical-minded colleagues, Verohnika Clark.

Like Berg, Verohnika Clark is of our race's intelligencia. Ms. Clark has two Associate degrees, the first in diesel mechanics, and the second in Liberal Arts Studies and Global Political Science (Magna Cum Laude) from California State University at San Marcos. She is also an ASE Certified Automotive Technician. "Adolph Hitler was a very good revisionist Christian," Clark explained. The research of Clark and other like-minded historians, leads to the idea that Hitler embraced a "positive Christianity" which tolerated paganism and other indigenous folk religions, but
eschewed the "materialistic Bolshevism" of the Jewish ethos in which 'man is god.'

In introducing the next entertainer, MC Jesse Curnow said that "Few care more for our people than Noble Son." The folk-rock music of Noble Son shows a passion in words and melodies which bravely looks forward to surmounting the challenges put to the White race. In his first set, Noble Son sang "Just Another Case of Nostalgia," followed by "The Key Ingredient."

Local unit member and occasional thespian, Jerry Harbin, joined Noble Son for a dramatic reading entitled, "The Lay of Harbard." In this stylized folktale, Odin (Harbin) taunts Thor (Noble Son) with a series of exaggerated insults, comedic put-downs and mythic tales showing the `humanity' of these great characters. After intermission, Harbin again flexed his theatrical muscle with an inspiring performance of "Odin's Address," adapted from the original work by Donald V. Clerkin.

"Take heart! You have no one to fear. Stand up…worthy of the new order...unafraid to grapple with fate! The time is come! Open thine eyes to the reborn vision. Let courage be thine authority as ye pull down thieving charlatans. For courage reborn courage forges destinyanew!", 'Odin' exhorted.

After yet another accomplished musical performance by Evan Thomas (this time on the Irish flute), the mood in the hall became a little tense. A Mexican wedding was ironically taking place in a neighboring room! The mariachi band and DJ were inconsiderate (as is typical of many of their race) by playing a little too loudly, and obstinately refusing to turn down their clash of discordant amplified sound.

In taking the stage for his last two songs, Noble Son kept his composure and good naturedly expressed his displeasure. "They're gonna feel the heat, brown plague over there!" While `heat' probably wasn't felt by our `neighbors to the South' in their hall, excitement was felt in OUR room. We were exhorted to "Love Your Folk," and
consider the "Endangered Sacredness." While finishing one song, Noble Son obviously couldn't resist using some of his own juicy theatrics, by pointedly belting out the concluding lyric. Shooting a telling glance towards the neighboring hall, Noble Son's song aptly warned us that we might "drown in scum."

The keynote speaker of Winterfest, Paul Fromm, heads the Canada First Immigration Reform Committee and the Canadian Association of Free Expression (http://www.canadianfreespeech.com). A former English instructor, Fromm was fired from his position after years of pressure from Jewish lobby groups, based on his support for censorship victims, and his opposition to the Third World invasion of Canada. Fromm is known and justifiably revered for battling Internet censorship ("the only uncontrolled medium left"), and for supporting political prisoners, such as Ernst Zundel and David Irving. Surviving protests in front of his home as well as arson and death threats, Paul Fromm is routinely hassled by Canadian Customs agents, sometimes just for carrying a book of Irish fairy tales!

Paul Fromm demonstrated his intelligence by discussing the Jewish subversive Frankfort School. According to Fromm and other scholars, this group of Marxists fled Germany for America in 1933, bringing with them decidedly un-American ideas and cultural blights. These included radical feminism, the homosexual revolution, "Hollywierd," and today's political correctness. "Fair is foul, and foul is fair," Fromm began, using a quote from one of the world’s greatest White playwrights, William Shakespeare.

Fromm warned of the ADL as a threat to "Internet neutrality." He also cited a recent government conference considering redefining `hate-speech' as an `act.' The thought seemed to be that since hate-speech is an act and not communication (and supposedly 'dangerous'), it would not receive protection under the First Amendment!

Winterfest finished with the emotionally fulfilling, yet timeless elegance of the versatile Evan Thomas playing the Celtic violin. In his concluding remarks, MC Jesse Curnow emphasized that "European man MUST survive by any means necessary." And with voices like Evan Thomas, Fritz Berg, Verohnika Clark, Noble Son and Paul Fromm raising spirits and consciousnesses, it looks as if the White race WILL survive and prosper!
