I keep coming back to the following which has been ignored before:

A tabloid paper used for recruitment and propaganda needs to be written in tabloid style. The problme with talented writers like Alex Linder and others is that they ALL make the HUGE mistake of trying to drive facts into people's heads. This does NOT work from a propaganda viewpoint.

People act and react emotionally. So give them emotion.

Look at how tabloid newspapers work. The NPD and DVU has them and the BNP has a good one called Voice of Freedom which I believe is written by a journalist of some type and certainly looks that way.

Let us put the myth of advertising to rest. Whilst all newspapers whether supported by a cover price or free - and free papers are the growing market - get advertising you can't really support an independent pro-white newspaper with advertising because it puts the advertisers at risk and any such effort must be supported, as it has been, by contributions.

Anyway, you need BIG headlines. You need a consistent point style and layout style. You need contact points in big letters. You need lots and lots of pictures. You need drama, emotion, a rollercoaster ride. Quality production.

All this is achievable and the two industry standards for PDF production are Quark and InDesign. These are worldwide in use. The latter is cheaper and works with Abode programmes like Photoshop. It worries me that the American movement cannot produce a paper along the described principles and make it work on a consistent basis.

Although much effort has gone into the distribution of the first TAAs and TWPL the papers, to be honest, suck, as you Americans would say. They are virtually unreadable with tiny print and tediously long articles that make the mistake of appealing intellectually. All but the most committed fanatic could engage with it. In my archives I have something called White Power put around by your NS groups in the 1970s and 1980s. it used much better design principles and they didn't have Quark or InDesign! We used to transport here an underground paper in from the USA produced by the NSDAP/AO and it looked a bit underground too but was not a bad layout for the 1980s.

I am not being critical of the effort but of the production. If TWPL is to succeed a group should meet and discuss what abilities each has in the field and examples of mass market tabloids should be shown, their message inwardly understood.

I also believe it is a mistake to link such a paper in with this lunatic forum as it is not a good place for a new convert or interested party to visit. That is a fact easily demonstrated by last week's madness!

So perhaps a basic website describing general principles might be designed for the first-timer. Those committed or serious should then be met by local distritbutors after due security procedures have been met and therefore a local contact point or e-mail address could be stamped by the distributor. We here have so much work to do but I hope that some few American pro-white activists can come up with a tabloid paper using tabloid principles!

Perhaps give them a little bit of tangible intellectual stuff buried in the back pages, but it needs to be mostly emotion. You are exactly correct, MW88. Something that no one has addressed yet is this. If a new tabloid clerk takes over, I assume he/she would have access to everyone's name and address who had ordered the paper. Perhaps some of us do not want our names and addresses to go to someone "Alex approves." Did Alex approve AM as a mod, I sure as hell wouldn't want him provided with my personal info.

Yesterday I found out my parents lost over $200,000 worth of inventory when their store was flooded so I will probably be absent a lot trying to console them and help with the cleanup.

I will say this one thing. I have distributed these papers since TAA #2. I have had a good response from TWPL and have used them to wake up many people. They have aided me in recruiting a few new members. I really hate that Rounder has resigned as clerk. Unless a suitable replacement is found and the content stays as it was in TWPL #1, I will not distribute any more. I hate to say this because I am the contact for most of Louisiana and a large part of Florida for this. I have even considered the clerk position myself but I just do not have the time to do it. Part of my concern is that there is an address in the papers to this forum. It is hard to get people involved in something when they come here and see so called White Nationalists attacking one another like has been done.

My biggest concern now is (1) Finding a suitable tabloid clerk to replace me, and (2) Disposing of the money presently in our tabloid fund.

You financial contributors are urged to advise me what to do with your money in the Civil Forum thread I made for that purpose. Options are:

2) Return your money to you, or
3) Use your money for my campaign for US Congress

The deadline was set for 8 AM, 25 Sept. After which, I'll mail half the fund balance to Alex, and use the other half for my campaign. Contributors who object to this use of their money can simply tell me and I'll return your money in full.

And you also recruited several financial contributors and distributors from Texas and Louisianna who all tolled, purchased and/or distributed about 4,000-5,000 copies of VNN's newspapers.

Fact is, it's rednecks like us who do almost all the distro'ing. But of course, the "valuable intellectual properties" are too valuable for mere distro'ing, and have "intellectual" excuses, anyway.
