Firstly, shit-can that worthless attitude of thinking that grabbing money from Uncle Samuel is some sort of crime. It’s not. Not anymore. You’ve got nothing to prove to us and your heart is obviously compelled by misguided loyalties. Our current government is not what it once was, and your request for a supplement to your SS will not make a difference one way or the other how quickly the American empire falls. And fall it will, and very soon, I’m afraid. If this once beautiful country were still worth a damn, I’d agree with you, because pride and nation go hand in hand. But that extra money that you don’t take will only go to a mexican, and I would rather have my tax dollars in your pocket rather then in Pedro’s. I suggest that you go to the SS office at your earliest convenience and ask for the supplement and any other freebie that you can get your hands on, like food stamps, etc.

Also, I read in the paper today that AOL is now offering “free dial-up service”. I know that you said, you couldn’t afford to keep your phone, but by adding the SS supplement to your income and having free dial-up might make the difference for you.

Of course, if these ideas won’t work for you, there is always the public library’s computers that you could use to post.

Take whatever you can from the guvmint, brother! I'd rather see it go to you than to some hairless ape. The guvmint will keep taking our money no matter what we do (short of an all out rebellion, which is not only unlikely, but wouldn't be too well timed right now either), and if you don't cash in, someone else will.
