Not to don a tin foil hat or anything, but it's kind of bizarre to put in your name 'and a few more details' and get a fake boarding pass to Mars, that you can print out (to bring to 'show and tell'?) and it will be put on a microchip that will be on the InSight lander when it lands on Mars in Nov. 2018.

Kind of bizarre, maybe it's to generate an interest off ourselves and onto space exploration by giving us a narcissistic thingy-dingy with our name on it...other than that I can't see the purpose.
