[INDENT][ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LqAkhXOeiSw"]YouTube - Fugitives from British Injustice ![/ame]

A short account of how Simon Sheppard and Steve Whittle fled to the US to escape political persecution in Britain.
We understand that Sheppard and Whittle decided to seek asylum in the US because their Internet site is situated on a web server in Torrance, California and its contents do not contravene US law (First Amendment).
In Britain Up there is an on-going media blackout only a few reports in local newspapers in the regions where the two men lived. To date there are no reports in the US written media.
I would appreciate it if VNN Forum members who see this video bring this issue to the attention of the American public by posting it in any US forums you are a member of.

LATEST ON THE HERETICAL TWO

23rd July
"I've just heard that Californian attorney Bruce Leichty (who previously represented Ernst Zundel) has visited the Heretical Two in gaol.
He reports that they are being well treated, but feel rather isolated, so messages of support would be welcome.
A fuller report will follow.”

20th July
Kate of the BPP Women’s Division reports:
“I have just spoke to prison who have confirmed BOTH Sheppard and Whittle are in Santa Ana prison.
Their postal addresses are:

Sheppard, Simon
0800006404
c/o Santa Ana Jail
P.O. Box 22003 Santa Ana,
CA 92701 USA

Whittle, Steve
0800006408
c/o Santa Ana Jail
P.O. Box 22003 Santa Ana,
CA 92701 USA

On Sunday 20 July I personally roamed the net and collected 61 email address of newspaper editors, reporters, radio & TV stations etc. in the Los Angeles area and sent them information about the two with links to UK papers etc. etc. I got one reply and the editor in question was only interested in who I am and my relationship to the two (the foothills paper). Since then no reports in the US but at least ALL newspapers in the LA area know about it and could have reported it as a local item (that’s why I specifically wrote to them).

Donations please
Re: Heretical Two
The Heretical Two need some help in the way of a fund raising drive. It seems that USD 10,000 should do the trick, or £5,000. Are you able to tap any sources in England or the USA to help them?
(Please note: It is difficult for British citizens to send them monies. See below.)

For US citizens
