There is a case to be made for both. Wholesale elimination would ensure that no white woman would ever again be touched or looked at the wrong way by a nigger. But we would lose a historic anthropological curiosity. Keeping a few is almost like a test of will. Will future generations resist the urge to let the primates out of their cages?
