Something I have heard about the supposed strategy of this Boston bomber and others like him/her/them is how they rigged the bombs, specifically timed the bombs, as to give them a better chance to kill more people. So it made me think if there should be some sort of strategy formulated as to how one might best react if they find themselves near an initial blast of a bomb.
The reports are the terrorists have used the panic after and explosion to their advantage and will many times set off a small bomb in an effort to get a crowd of people to run to the site of a larger bomb. I heard this several times on the cable news networks.
So what should one do if they were near a initial blast site, obviously you have little time to react. Perhaps one should stay put or even fight instinct and immediatly go toward the direction of the first blast. This would work to possibly avoid the second blast altogether.
Then again if you stear clear of any large metro area, mostly on the coasts, that is probably your best bet to avoid all that strength diversity brings.
Would be interested in any strategy anyone might be able to share based on information they have heard or know of personally.
