That Painting Dust-up

This opens up a great topic: most of today's art sucks.

Do you want to see great art? You have to go back to at least 1910 (especially for sculpture). Granted, there are a few exceptions, but as a rule, today's artists don't have "the gift" that is required to produce great art. In the old days, promising young artists studied under the masters, so they were able to become very good, if not outstanding, artists [1]. In the old days, if you weren't very talented, you would starve. In 1830, Picasso (a communist) would have starved for sure! But lucky for him, enough idiots were around by 1920 that he didn't starve; the New York City "art cabal" (which was 95% Jewish; scroll to Chapter 26) "built" Picasso by praising him monthly.

Trivia: leftists, as a rule, have crappy taste in art. They love ugly art...
