I'm sure many of you here have read or heard about the little 4 year old British girl who went missing from her family while vacationing in Portugal. Today I came across the above article about her parents meeting the Pope. I did not know this detail of the disappearence until today;

"The girl disappeared May 3 when her parents left her and her 2-year-old twin siblings alone in their hotel room while they went to a restaurant in the hotel complex in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz."

I still pitty the little girl, but I have no sympathy for the parents anymore. Who leaves a 4 year old alone in charge of twin 2 year olds?!? 'They were in the hotel restaurant' yeah, getting hammered I'm sure. How can people be so stupid?
