I think klassen`s usage of the term the white race is a good all-round term to get the message through, but it`s important sooner or later to identify who are white and the various subgroups. These are important to take into consideration when preservation and continued existence is involved. We can`t just mix up every european without losing some important parts of our genetic heritage.

Fact is I've been in Italy multiple times (Continental, Peninsular and the Isles), watched shows on Italian TV yet I've never seen any Germanic-looking Italian. NEVER. I was always under the impression that the Aryan label was a linguisitic label.
