Glenn Miller can stop it. The main highway between Mexico and Canada goes right through Missouri, doesn't it? Or is it Kansas? I forget.

Could this superhighway story be a diversion?
I have been traveling back and forth lately a route that takes me along I-35 from San Antonio to Dallas, and, the stretch of that highway from San Antonio to Austin is pure urban ALL THE WAY! There is no chance to widen it unless they are going to bulldoze over a 60 mile stretch of built-up homes, businesses, and urban sprall throughout the whole length (you can hardly tell you've left one city and arrived at another). And the existing traffic is plum full right now, any day of the week. I haven't seen this strecth from the air, but, I suspect they would have to go parallel to the current I-35 corridor by at least 30 or 50 miles (either side) in order to get enough rural areas to build a superhighway upon. From Austin to Dallas is a different story - there are stretches that turn rural, so that might be feasable, but, from San Antonio to Austin is already full up. Maybe they don't really plan to do this superhighway thing after all? Maybe they are just yanking chains?
Can anyone report on any of the I-35 stretches further north?

They always float trial balloons to gauge the reaction of the lemmings.
Depending upon that reaction, they will alter their plans accordingly.
They don't want to rock the boat too hard.
At least not hard enough to wake people up to the fact
that the little Kiken-vermin
are running around behind the scenes
causing all the trouble in the world.
They wouldn't want another Hollow-cost now would they.
Imagine
the whole world pointing their finger
at the Jew!
