Anybody watch the Oscars? 
Charlize Theron, nominee for Best Supporting Actress, "North Country"
The Memphis rap group Three 6 Mafia arrives for the 78th Academy Awards Sunday, March 5, 2006, in Los Angeles.
The raucous hip-hop tune "It's Hard Out Here for a Pimp" from "Hustle & Flow," whose expletive-laden lyrics had to be toned down for performance at the Oscars, won the prize for best song.

I haven’t watched the Oscars for the past 10 or 15 years.
I did watch tonight for about 10 minutes, only to see how far down the crapper America has gone since the last time that I did watch.
My worst fears were confirmed.

The ensemble drama "Crash" pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Academy Awards history, winning best picture Sunday over the cowboy romance "Brokeback Mountain," which had been the front-runner.
"Crash," featuring a huge cast in crisscrossing story lines over a chaotic 36-hour period in Los Angeles, rode a late surge of praise that lifted it past "Brokeback Mountain," a film that had won most other key Hollywood honors.
Reese Witherspoon as country singer June Carter in "Walk The Line" and Philip Seymour Hoffman as author Truman Capote in "Capote" won the lead-acting Academy Awards.

I didnt watch the oscars, the only person that I am glad won is Reese Witherspoon for Walk the Line. Good movie, and Reese dosent strike me as the typical hollywood asshole.
Im suprised that Bearback Mountian didnt win.

I agree about Reese but why she chose Ryan Philippe over me, I'll never understand.

I watched it for about 10 seconds while channel surfing. A couple of rap niggers speaking heavy street language went on-stage to receive an Oscar. That was it for me.

I watched the opening sequence, and it was truely revolting.
Host Jon Stewart was lying on a bed with George Clooney, and the camera went right up his revolting giant nostrils.
He was a useless host, made hopeless jokes, including one "I think I speak for al jews when I ask what next?" in relation to Spielberg making Shindlers List then Munich.
It was then that I stopped watching.
On top of the world.

I see I didn't miss anything last night. 
I gave up on the oscars when schpiel-burgh, and friends took control of hollywood years ago.
I've since killed my own joo-toob.
