This turkey was laid low on my uncle's land, it's a 24-lber. I don't hunt, but I do cook. Did this two hours at 450, came out about right. Crocked the thighs, wings and drumsticks, excellent stuff all the way around.
Sold the head for $7 too, to a taxidermy shop. Guy showed us how he cleans turkey using scalpel in three minutes. They sell turkey mounts for $650, which is a hell of a lot of money, but apparently people will pay it.
