The trick is that you are supposed to feel bad just at being accused at it, and seek to make amends about it. Even when Dr.Pierce was asked if he was a racist on 60 minutes, he admitted that he was taken aback by the question and felt almost guilty for a moment. Even dr.Pierce! The trick is to not hesitate in saying that you are indeed a racist and come back at them and ask "what's wrong with that?" And they have no answer for that quetsion. You aren't supposed to ask that quetsion. they depend on you not asking it. They depend on the conversation not getting that far. But when it does, they don't have any step on their flow-chart to take. They expect you'll cower down in shame before it gets that far! It is tragic that such a cheap trick as this has actually reshaped all of western civlization!!!!
