Hello,

So I was thinking about this sitting on the bus the other day and looking at several mixed race folks. Do you believe that there's any biological significane to the fact that when white and nonwhite people produce children (mixed with blacks, Asians, Latinos, etc.), that the children almost always look more nonwhite than they do white? Mixed children never seem to have blond hair or blue eyes. Half black/white children usually have darker skin and African facial features, and half Asian/white children usually look pretty Asian to me. Could it be that many white genes or phenotypes are recessive? This isn't meant to insult any of you; I'm just wondering if you agree or if you've had the same thoughts. I'm curious as always to get your opinions. Thank you.
