At Washington U. here in St. Louis, the Jewish Student Union had T.J.Leyden, 'a former Marine Corps soldier (Marines AREN"T soldiers) and Neo-Nazi activist for 15 years' to speak out against the skinhead movement.
Leyden brought armed guards with him because he said he feared for his life from Neo-nazis (this is also in his contract whenver he speaks). He also remarked on the rally of such groups last weekend at the Gateway Arch
was probably done because he was nearby (it's about a six mile gap between Wash U. and the Arch..not that nearby), and Leyden said the real purpose of Neo-nazis and hate groups wasn't white pride or destruction of others, 'but they use these rallies to polarize two people (based on their different backgrounds.' (What does this mean?)
Leyden said he distanced himself from the skinheads because he started thinking about the future of his five sons, then started working at the Simon Wiesenthal Center. He seems to be hitting the lecture circuit a lot.
Leyden also claims that the military allowed him to participate in passive racist acts, that the U.S. prison system encourages racism by segregating
prisoners, and wat least 3,000 'racist individuals who champion the separatist movement are currently being trained in the U.S. military.'
Naturally, the college crowd lapped this up.
who is T.J. leyden? have any of you ever heard of him, and what's his history with WN and skinheads?
