When I was a kid, the big thing was "coconut suntan lotion." All the White girls would smear themselves with it, which made the entire swimming pool area smell like coconuts. Then, the girls would lay in the sun and get tan, to the point where they soon looked Mexican.
Why? I still don't know. I have often wondered, but I have never arrived at an answer. Why did White girls want to look Mexican?? Many of the blonde chicks looked like "blonde Mexicans."
