Im fairly new around here and I stumbled on the thread "Words Men Should Never Use" By Forest. Its amazing how much we limit ourselves by only reading recent threads. I got a kick out of a lot of that, and added a thread of my own at the end, not knowing that i'd duplicated a word Forest had used----man cave-----some neo fag term that has caught on like wildfire.

Im trying a new thread because like Alex Linder I love words but I discover them constantly misapplied. I hope this proves interesting but im not good at starting threads. Also I enjoyed the Linder story about the Grand Canyon trek that he completed against (sound) judgement,,,, or was it? But like good writing it left it open to interpretation. Anyway interesting.

------"TAKE" Whats your take? Sorry but the word take should only be used like this ----- "take this peach pie home with you jimmy for your grandmother and don't eat any on the way home"

NOT.......... "take a seat you bunch of hooligans" and.........

"what did you TAKE from the experience, Jasper"??

and........"Take your Uncle Earle for example, don't start smoking or you'll end up looking like that backside of a woodchuck"

And to be a butthole "whats your take" sounds faggoty and implies that the average ignorant American Idol clone even has a "TAKE"
