"Ways that are Dark : The Truth about China by Ralph Townsend" was written by an American consular officer in China during the 1930s, before political correctness and censorship kept writers from being honest about racial behavior. I can verify through personal experience that everything he writes about the Chinese and Asians is true.
I've got here the original 1933 edition, and want your help in getting it online as a pdf and text file asap. Possibly translating it into other languages, and if someone here has a good voice and knows how to correctly pronounce the Chinese names, turning it into an audiobook (after all who has time to read?). The book is 335 pages long so transcribing it all myself would take several weeks, but with just a dozen people proofreading we could have it available on the internet in a few hours.
If you're interested PM or email me and we can get started. All you need is an OCR program (I've had good results with TopOCR, freeware btw) and a willingness to learn how to make PDF files.
