Yes, but what made that world wonderful was NOT due to christianity, but, due to being peopled by white folks. Whites don't need christianity, but, christianity, to work as well as it did, definitely needed white folks.

If I can divide christians into two broad categories - zealots on the one hand, and, mere followers on the other. Zealots will offer "christian fellowship and love" only conditianlly - you MUST embrace thier particular doctrine, OR ELSE (they wipe their feet as they leave your presence). Mere followers can accept non-christians without worrying about constantly trying to "convert" them, and can feel true human fellowship for non-christians without "preaching the gospel" at every opportunity. I have many christian (mere followers) as friends and loving relatives - I have no zealots as friends - they won't accept me, and I dread encounters with them since I KNOW they will sieze every opportunity to preach some more - it makes me feel like I'm being hustled.

Well, if you want to have civilization, you have to have some moral code and Christendom was the best civilization with the best moral code. So there. You neo-pagans are confused and eating red lentil pottage, thinking it's a juicy steak.

It could also be said that you are confused in thinking that White behaviour was imposed by Christianity, when we here at VNN know that society comes from the ground-up. It's a blood-and-soil thing. If Christianity was responsible for the West, then why isn't Africa in the middle of a renaissance?

Also, I am not a neo-Pagan, as I subscribe to *zero* superstitions. If I find one, I root it out. You call it faith--as the jews say "We have a law." I, for one, choose to know. I, as an adult, wish to take nothing on faith.

Christendom did *not* have the best moral code, either. It stifled true diversity of opinion by rendering opinion subject to church orthodoxy (what's the diff. between that and corrupt, oriental/african "big-man"-ism? anti-racism? judaism?). It turned a people with a "master" code of ethics into one with a "slave's" code of ethics. It swapped virtue with piety, masculinity with "the women's temperence movement."
