@stewart-meadows I made some adjustments so it's not so tiny in the editor box

I can't entirely fix it though because it works differently than the old- it embeds a thumbnail and then you click it to view the full image.

I'll see if I can adjust some more or do away with the thumbnail method.

As far as I'm concerned, it's perfect now. All I have to do is copy the picture I want, and then simply paste it into the reply box. The size was initially too small, but now it's big, just like on the old VNN forum.

I'm starting the process of importing all the old content.

It's going to take a while.

First I had to convert all content from our old vbulletin to a different forum software that we don't use, then from there I can import from that to the one we are using. So it's a multi conversion process. Luckily the threads are looking ok so far. There may be some small updates I'll have to do once everything's imported (fixing smilies, etc.)

Anyway you'll probably start seeing some old threads show up from years ago as it fills out. It's going to be probably a week process.

Thank you for all your fantastic work. I can't believe how much you have done for VNN over the years (and for free). If this is a stupid question (and it probably is since I have the tech skills of a boomer), then just ignore it, but...what will the end result look like? Will the old VNN forum simply be a so-called museum, i.e. will we be able to read it, but not post on it? Or will we be able to continue to post in our old threads?

@stewart-meadows You'll be able to post in old threads, and all your old posts will be associated with your current account.

Just want to reiterate that I will pay the monthly costs for the old forum to be reinstated, and also upgraded to latest version to allow for better security. Not sure how to get money to Varg. And I realize it's not just about money, Varg doesn't want to be responsible for illegal posts, etc.. So we need to find a solution to that problem.

Since Shitzgall has now bumped this thread, I just want to say that I hope that the threads from the old forum will be retrieved, restored and incorporated into this new version of VNN because there are so many important things happening in the US and in the world right now that I would like to post about, and it needs to be in those old threads that already contain so much valuable information about these topics, especially regarding the jewish aspect of them (which is the most important one).

For example, the crooked, jew-controlled, warmongering, neocon Trump administration is (seemingly) getting ready to start a war against Venezuela, and I would like to post about this subject in my extremely long old thread about the jewish attempt to overthrow Venezuela's legitimate and very popular anti-zionist president Nicolás Maduro in 2019 because all the anti-Venezuelan policies we see from Trump's jewish masters right now are an obvious continuation of the previous attempted coup against Maduro.

My old thread about Venezuela contained lots of information about so many of the various jews (from the US, from Latin America and also from Europe) that were leading the anti-Venezuelan campaign, and that information is highly relevant since it still jews leading the charge. And this is just one example. There are a lot of other important current topics, like the Epstein pedophile case, that I would like to post about in the already-existing threads that contain valuable information about the topic. So yeah, I hope that the threads get restored.

P.S. This doesn't mean that I "endorse" Shitzgall as the new potential owner or webmaster of VNN. I obviously wouldn't want to see a homosexual jew in charge of the forum.

They're being imported now. I can view them. I don't want to open it up to everyone yet until it's done.

It's imported all the old user accounts and all the threads but it's only 17% done on all the replies.

The problem is our server that hosts this site is cheaper but not as powerful. So I have to run the import slower or else it crashes. Sometimes it crashes regardless and I have to restart it which is annoying.

I don't want to commit to a better server just yet. It would help the import go faster but I'm not sure we need it long term. The site is slower now because the import is running, once it's done it will improve. 

I may try something else if this takes too long: running the import on a more powerful server I have in the basement, then upload the database dump to this server once it's done. It only needs the improved performance once to do the conversion and import, so I can just upload the finished job to our server once it's done... Which should make it faster than trying to do a cpu intensive thing on a minimal server this site is hosted on 

@varg Yes, i could not post yesterday due those problems. It was slow and than want accept, than again...However, to me it is nice as say I post as @stewart-meadows sad to me, you are new Stewart Meadows on new VNN forum. I send in Europa uncensured a lot of books, small library which made my brother from uncle and he collect those books for a years, it won't open all books but majority are openable.
So if you can stick them due it is complete history of Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Dalmatia, even there are 2 Albanian books. I separate Montenegro and Serbia, I will not do the same for Croatia. I should put Hercegovina and Dalmatia as one with Montenegro but...it is fine.

Take your time, we are not in a hurry.

For three days now it's been virtually impossible to post. The forum is much slower than usual (and that's saying a lot!), and it keeps going offline all the time. Perhaps this has to do with Varg's ongoing attempts to bring back the threads from the old VNN forum and integrate them into this new version, and if that's the case, then I won't interfere with his work. I just wanted to explain why I haven't posted much in the last few days.

It's the same in my case. It goes very slow. It is generally very difficult to post, or some threads I posted wasn't finished up to the end. Yes, it would be great if @varg completed it successfully.  

Unfortunately the import hasnt been running because it's getting overwhelmed and stalling.

The hosting I have the forum on now is not adequate with the traffic we get.

I need to think of another solution. I don't really want to be committing to something more expensive.
