The Sons of the Swastika The idea of social justice is a dangerous slogan that only causes confusion as long as an order exists that arises from an ideology for shaping human reality and not from a worldview based on nature and the laws of life. Social justice, understood as a paradisiacal state of peace in a human society or community, is an illusion, an idea that contradicts all human reality, but most of all, our German-Germanic way of life. The "lost paradise" can never be regained because there never was a paradise. But if there had been a paradisiacal state for people, then only those who consider a life in "paradise" to be the perfection of human existence could regret its loss. Nevertheless, one can observe that every sermon about a lost and regainable paradise is widely heard because people are happy to agree with proclamations that promise them the fulfilment of their dreams. The "heaven" of christianity is not the ultimate means to explain the attraction of this religiously disguised judaism. We know that life can be anything but paradisiacal. We know that only through incessant struggle, which arises from tremendous tensions within our reality, can we be what we must be. We know that the peace and quiet of paradise would be the death of our essential life. We National Socialists, when we speak of social justice, do not overlook the economic side of this fundamentally important question. We know that social hardship is always, not least of all, economic hardship, we have a duty, when answering this question, to maintain that higher perspective that goes beyond purely economic measures and places it in the metaphysical destiny and historical mission of our people. The idea of paradise is of christian origin, although the idea of a perfect state of happiness for mankind certainly existed before the christian era. "Eternal bliss" is the state of happiness that christianity proclaims. To be happy is also the only goal that the liberal ideology that springs from christianity knows. According to this, happy is the person whose wishes and hopes of his little self, which are far removed from all passionate longing and all fate-driven will, are fulfilled. But to be happy in this sense means to be sleepy in the mouths of servants... To be happy?... I feel as if I had porridge and lukewarm water on my tongue when you talk to me about being happy! So silly and so hopeless is everything for which you give up your laurel crowns, your immortality. O holy light that restlessly, active in its immense realm, wanders up there above us and also communicates its soul to me in the rays that I drink, your happiness be mine! The sons of the sun feed on their own deeds! They live from Victory! They encourage themselves with their own spirit, and their strength is their joy! This confession of our national essence, of our fundamentally tragic existence is expressed by Hölderlin, the seer and singer who, in addition to his own hardship, bore the powerlessness of his fatherland as a bitter suffering harder than all others, until the spiritual night came over him. Because we are "sons of the sun," the sign of light, the swastika, stands on our flags. The swastika is the symbol of the National Socialist idea. The social question, as far as it concerns the area of our reality, must therefore also be considered and resolved under this national Germanic sign. The "sons of the sun" do not live from desire and hope, not from the fulfilment of dreams, but they "feed" themselves from their actions! They have earned their lives through their struggle! Their strength is their joy!
