Racial Personality and Racial Soul By Martin Kerr THE OUTWARD DIFFERENCES between the races, such as skin color and hair texture, are the most obvious manifestations of racial diversity – but they are the least significant. The differences in intelligence among the various races of Man are more important; to those with even the most rudimentary racial awareness, they are almost as obvious as the physical differences. Yet, the intellectual racial differential likewise is not the most significant or fundamental difference. Rather, it is the less-apparent differences – those of racial personality and racial soul – which are fundamental, and which forever distinguish one race from another. Each of us has an individual personality, which is formed from two sources (1) the genetic heritage bequeathed to us by our parents, and (2) our life experiences. But we also possess a racial personality, which consists of those traits which are common among the members of a particular race. The racial personality stems from the genetic inheritance that we share with other members of our race. This racial heritage consists of those traits which our ancestors bestowed to us going back countless generations. Additionally, our shared history, likewise going back many thousands of years, has helped mold our present-day racial personality. This is true not just of the White race but of all of the races of mankind: the different environments in which Homo sapiens evolved have gifted each race with a unique set of strengths and weaknesses. Each White person exhibits their racial personality to one degree or another – as do Blacks, Asians and other races. While this racial personality manifests itself in individuals, it is most obvious when members of a race come together and interact with each other. For example, a lone Negro among a group of White people normally suppresses his racial personality and “acts White.” But when this same Negro is among his own racial kinsmen, his true racial personality comes to the fore and is on full display. Our racial personality is an outward manifestation of race. It is, so to speak, our racial superstructure. Conversely, the inner manifestation of race is the racial soul. It is our racial infrastructure. Among Whites – or more properly, among Aryans – our unique racial soul gives birth to an innate religious feeling. This inborn religiousness will always find a way to express itself, no matter what particular faith any given Aryan population adheres to. Among the constellation of spiritual traits that are contained in the Aryan soul are honesty, honor, order, healthy sexuality, a hatred of injustice, a fidelity to one’s kinship group, the desire to create, a deep-rooted love of living Nature (especially the love of animals), and a love of beauty. Other races may share some of these traits but in the Aryan, they are manifested in a distinct and unique manner. There is a relationship between the racial soul and the racial personality: spiritual values that originate in the racial soul are given form by the racial personality. Nowhere is this more plainly evident than in the creations produced by Aryan artists who are profoundly in touch with their racial souls. Just listing all of them would be the work of a lifetime and take many volumes, but we may cite, by way of outstanding example, Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle; the Ninth Symphony of Ludwig van Beethoven, the plays of William Shakespeare and Euripides; the paintings of the Renaissance masters; and the NS-era sculptures of Arno Breker. In these works the Aryan soul is given concrete form by the racial personality of the artist. The mixture of Aryan blood – that is, genes – with non-Aryan blood destroys both the racial personality and the racial soul. We have met some self-styled White advocates who tell us that the mixing of Aryans with Northeast Asians, such as the Japanese and the Chinese, is not so bad, because these Yellow peoples are highly cultured and are approximately on our intellectual level. But even if this were true (something of which we are not entirely convinced), such interbreeding is destructive to our unique racial personality and our unique racial soul. Mixing destroys character. Under conditions of harmony with the Natural Order, Aryan humanity has a special and exalted destiny to fulfill. Our race is on its own evolutionary vector – one leading upwards and onwards. But only by recognizing our distinct racial personality and by honoring our unique racial soul can our ultimate racial destiny be realized.
