Most ironic is all claims have truth in every Balkans volk there are descendants of Ancient Slavs, Sarmatians, Schytians, Goths...even Germans what show Genetic science done on Helm or Balkans. Helm is original name for Balkan.
First we have I2a haplogroup heirs of Illyrians, than we have equal E1b and Slavic R1a what mean Scandinavia, especially Norway contain more Slavic genetic than any Balkan state around 30% and Iceland contain 25% of R1a. After goes Denmark, Sweden and Germany contain the same R1a as Serbia about 20%. Croatia contain something less than 30% of Proto-Balto-Slavic R1a and Slovenia contain more around 40% of Proto-Balto-Slavic R1a. 
R1a Z284 and R1a L664 are Norse and Germanic branches of Slavic ancestry. We have North-Eastern Germany where really lives Germanized Slavs as Lusantians, Bohemians, Moravians and Wends which are Western Slavs with R1a-M458 haplogroup.
Albanians are only who not belong to Balkans what last genetic studies show. They are fake Illyrians. They contain very diverse DNA from paternal side!  
Actually Albanians - real name Squiptars are parts of the Ottoman armies withdrawing from Balkans in few big waves. Before Ottomans on soil of Albania lived Montenegrins who went in Montenegrin mountains or stay there and receive Islam. Their biggest concentration where in today Albania. They present I2a, R1a, R1b and J2a.
Original Albanian - Shquiptar haplogroup is J2b. They come, mostly in 15th Century with Ottomans - Turkish. On the other hand, we have Bosnians who are genetically Illyrians and compare to Albanians they have nothing in common, except Islamization in 16th century!
So it is understandable which volk have genetically right on Helm - Balkan and that volk are Slavs but I2a Slavic branch and after comes R1a proto Slavic branch. I2a-P908 is branch of Slavic tribe or Slavenized branch of Illyrians. That is the same way Germans Germanized Western Slavs as Sorbs, Slavs Slavenized branch of Illyrians. Today mostly Balkans people name themselfs as Slavs. With out Albania, Greece and Turkey. North-Western Balkan people.
