OMG. I just ran the numbers on the deficit. I used this as an example
Last week, German government 10-year bond yields suddenly spiked from just 8 basis points to 37 basis points.
Now, a 29 basis point (0.29%)
$18,200,000,000,000 trillion dollar deficit X .0029=$52,780,000,000
This is just interest on the debt. Almost 53 billion dollars!!!!
Will one of you guys do me a favor and double check my numbers. I just fainted.
