Teacher makes deal over affair with boy

A former teacher charged with having sex with a 14-year-old middle school student and running off to Mexico with him pleaded guilty Wednesday to a [color="Red"]sodomy charge.

Angela Renee Comer, 28, would serve 10 years in prison under her plea agreement, in which the prosecutor agreed to drop most other charges. Besides one count of third-degree sodomy, Comer pleaded guilty to one count of custodial interference.

She had faced up to 20 years on each of four counts of first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor and up to five years each for two counts of third-degree sodomy.

Sexual Assault Of Student

A female physical education teacher is accused of having a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old girl in Gloucester County, N.J., investigators said.

Erica Umosell was accused having sex with one of her students -- a member of the girls’ field hockey team that she coached at Kingsway Regional High School in Woolwich Township.

Prosecutors said the assault took place in the 28-year-old teacher’s apartment in Glassboro, N.J., but added that nothing happened at the school. Police also said there were no other victims.

School staff accused of giving booze to students

Two Pueblo City Schools employees and a former school employee were facing criminal charges after they allegedly held parties for students and provided them with alcohol.

Joseph Borjon, 24, and Amanda Tilley, 35, turned themselves in this week after authorities issued arrest warrants for them.

Borjon, a security guard, and Tilley, a teacher, both were placed on administrative leave from Pueblo South High School.
