Four charged in alleged sexual assault

Two men were charged Monday with raping a girl last month, according to Delaware County sheriff’s deputies, and two others were accused of sexual misconduct with the girl.

Undersheriff Douglas Vredenburgh said Wednesday the incident was not a group rape.

Norberto Ayon-Robles, 33, and Manuel Herrera-Rivera, 24, each were charged with third-degree rape, a felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, deputies said.

Fidel Quintero-Correa, 18, and Jorge Ayon-Robles, 19, each were charged with endangering the welfare of a child and sexual misconduct.

The four are accused of having sex with a female younger than 17 years old. Deputies said the alleged incident happened July 5.
