Police Find Dozens Of Illegal Immigrants In Texas Duplex

(October 12, 2006)--San Antonio police conducting a routine stolen car check came across a "stash house" holding 51 illegal immigrants.

Officers say the 38 men, 12 women and a 17-year-old girl were crammed into three stuffy upstairs bedrooms.

Fred Hellenbeck of US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement says the migrants were being held in "deplorable conditions" without electricity.

The 51 people shared one bathroom.

He says most of the migrants said they had been held in the house from two to eight days.

Many were hungry and thirsty and hadn't bathed in days.

None of the migrants requested medical attention and none showed signs of physical abuse.

Hellenbeck says the migrants are from Mexico and Central American countries.

They face civil charges of being in the country illegally and will be deported.

One unidentified man was in custody and could be charged with smuggling.

Oh yeah, the spin is just lovely. I'm surprised these poor, exploited individuals who were forced to suffer such indignities weren't referred to as "undocumented migrants" instead of "illegal aliens." After all, "illegal alien" is such a harsh term, chockfull of institutionally racist connotations. I suppose even the kikes who write and frame this tripe are entitled to the occasional editorial faux pas.

I refuse to own residential property until residential contracts are enforced. You can move into a nice neighborhood, and then one of your neighbors puts in five suites and becomes a mini-slum lord and the city won't do anything.

A lot of the run up in real estate prices imo is people turning homes into mini apartments. Where one white family lived in the past with just the man working.. Now the man and wife work, plus have a number, sometimes many renters in their home.

You know it ! That is why the great run-up in real estate started in LA . Mexicans flooded into socal and took over all the little 'bungalows' that use to be cheap rent for couples just starting out . 10 mexicans paying 200 each per month in a two bedroom house , 2000 a month in rent . Not bad , for a moralless profiteer .

Eli Broad of Kaufman Broad home builders contributes millions to candidates , to keep the borders open . What do you suppose is his motive ?
