Dear Friend:

Thank you for contacting me regarding immigration. I apologize for the delay in my response.

Our nation’s immigration policies do not adequately address the problems and difficulties that face many of our communities. There is no doubt that immigration presents significant challenges and opportunities, and our laws must be adjusted to deal properly with the situation on the ground. No one step will solve the immigration crisis which is why we must enact comprehensive reform that seeks to fix a variety of different problems.

There are three different ways that we can respond to this crisis. One is to do nothing. This is totally inappropriate, and I believe it would be disastrous to our nation’s social and economic fabric. The current immigration problems will not simply go away by themselves. Our second option is to increase enforcement of immigration laws. I believe that we need to significantly upgrade enforcement, which is why I support president bush decision to send the national guards to the Mexican border. I also support provision that would create stiffer penalties for employers that knowingly hire illegal immigrants. It is important to understand, howawever, that more troops and more penalties will not solve the immigration crisis.

Many who support increase enforcement also aim to criminalize all undocumented workers, and build a wall long the us –Mexico border. These views were included in h r 4437, the border protection, antiterrorism, and illegal immigration control act of 2005, which I voted against. Creating 11 million new felons be counterproductive, and would take our law enforcement away from real security problems I would rather law enforcement focus on stopping on stopping gang violence and preventing terrorism than raiding car washes and diners for illegal immigrants

many people on this side of the debate also argue that undocumented workers do not contribute to our society, and so should be deported. I would argue, however, that every person that lives in the united states pays a certain amount of taxes (I e sales tax, property tax, act) .additionally, while many undocumented workers collect wages “under –the-table,” and so do not pay social service currently paid for by taxpayers dollars

our third option in solving the immigration crisis is a comprehensive approach that provides an earned path to citizenship for undocumented immigrations. I am a supporter of h r 2330, the secure America and orderly immigrants. this would create a guest workers program ,in which employers can hire immigrants under a temporary visa program if they can prove that they are unable to hire Americans workers for the same job I do not believe this is amnesty because in order to obtain a work visa, these illegal immigrants would be required to pay a substantial fine, pay any back taxes they owe, and remain employed, in addition, undocumented workers granted work visas would go to the back of the line in the path to citizenship.

By expanding opportunities for people to enter our country legally, we would significantly reduce the amount of human smuggling and allow our laws enforcement officers to concentrate on real threats to our collective security. We must protect the rights of those coming legally to the United States to make better lives for themselves and their families, I remain committed to passing meaningful immigrants’ reform this year that not only strengthen our borders, but also reflects our shared values and preserve American’s place as the land of opportunity

sincerely.

Typical, vague, ambiguous, do-nothing, goobily gop, El Duce.

Article 4, Section 4 of the US Constitution clearly states: "The U.S. (government) shall protect each state from invasion."

The GD traitors in Washington not only refuse to protect us from invasion, they deliberately aid and abet the GD invaders, to insure that more and more will come.

Here's the answer to the labor shortage: Ending welfare and a implement a national service requirement for kids 16-21, no exceptions. This would take care of any farm or other manual labor issues. I mean damn! Why the fuck is a mexishit waving a blower for gods sake? Couldn't a fucking 16 year old do that?

The response letter from the congressman is shallow. Rounder, He would not recognize the constitution if he read it over and over.As a matter of fact, Robert Andrews considers the "constitution” un-constitutional. The current system operates much like Enron; he’s just a company (homeland security-department of defense) man looking after his share holders.

The Roman economy was basically Raubwirtschaft, plunder economy, which was based on looting existing resources rather than producing anything new. The Empire relied on booty from conquered territories (this source of revenue ending, of course, with the end of Roman territorial expansion) or on a pattern of tax collection that drove small-scale farmers into destitution (and onto a dole that required even more exactions upon those who could not escape taxation), or into dependency upon a landed élite exempt from taxation. Slavery-based economy meant there was no middle class with purchasing power, and as result the Roman Empire had no significant production industries. Meanwhile the costs of military defense and the pomp of Emperors continued.

Yep, nothing new here, just anonther politition guilty of treason. Heres what should happen in my opinion.

1. Lynch all polititions who have directly or indirectly supported the criminal invasion and/or criminal invaders.
2. Send all non white european peoples who have immigrated here legally or illegally in the past 50 years back to there country of origin (including any offspring they may have had).
3. Make the entire Mexican/American border into a mine field.
4. Write new legislation making it easier for white europeans to immigrate here, along with some kind of incentive for doing so.
