Darby wants to be Democratic nominee for governor

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A former Democratic candidate for attorney general, who denies the Holocaust, wants Lt. Gov. Lucy Baxley to let him take her place as the party's nominee for governor.
In an Oct. 2 letter to state party leadership, Larry Darby made the request, describing himself as "a viable candidate to lead the party to victory in November."
The letter, obtained by the Montgomery Advertiser, says Baxley does not have "a discernable or meaningful platform."
Jim Spearman, executive director of the party, said the party plans to keep Baxley as its nominee to face off against Republican Gov. Bob Riley on Nov. 7.
"We fully stand behind Lucy Baxley," Spearman said Tuesday.
He said Darby "had his chance before the public and was defeated" in the June 6 primary for attorney general.
Baxleys campaign declined comment for the Advertiser's story.
In his letter, Darby said he doesn't want Alabama servicemen serving outside of the state. He also said he might get rid of the Alabama National Guard in favor of a state militia.
Darby said Spearman's response didn't surprise him.

Darby is running as an atheist. You can't do that in the heart of the bible belt. That's like running as a fundamentalist christian in Boston. It won't work. Darby had his chance and blew it. This run is only good for awareness activities.

To tell you the truth, that wouldn't bother me so much as long as he's pushing the anti-kike/holohoax line. I believe another revisionist, Bradley R. Smith, is married to a mexishit.
