Tehran, March 18, IRNA - Syrian President Bashar al-Assad says Iran is a significant and influential country in the region and the world.
Assad told Italian daily La Repubblica that Iran is an important country, whether you like it or not.
He said dialogue is enough to solve disputes.
"Whether you like it or not, Iran is an important country."
“Any attempt to contain a country ends up strengthening it," he argued.
