$1 million for arrest of American al Qaeda charged with treason
POSTED: 10:35 a.m. EDT, October 12, 2006
Story Highlights
• NEW: Gadahn placed on most-wanted list; $1 million reward offered
• Californian first American charged with treason since World War II era
• Gadahn, 28, appealed to Americans in al Qaeda videos
• Nicknamed "Azzam the American," he hailed 9/11 hijackers in video
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- An American al Qaeda propagandist was indicted Wednesday on treason charges, the first person charged with the offense during the United States' war on terrorism, officials said.
Adam Yahiye Gadahn, who has appeared in five al Qaeda videos, is also charged with offering material support for terrorism, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty said.
He has been put on the FBI's Most Wanted Terrorists list, and the State Department is offering a $1 million reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
The 28-year-old California native is the first American to face the charge since the World War II era, McNulty said.
"A charge of treason is exceptionally severe, and it is not one we bring lightly," McNulty said at a news conference in Washington. "But this is the right case for this charge."
If apprehended and convicted, Gadahn could face the death penalty.
Nicknamed "Azzam the American," Gadahn is not in U.S. custody and is believed to be living in Pakistan, McNulty said.
McNulty said he believes that Gadahn has been involved in issuing propaganda but not in carrying out any terrorist attacks. (Watch how Gadahn came to be indicted for al Qaeda ties -- 1:59 )
Threat issued
Gadahn has appeared in several al Qaeda messages speaking English and appealing to Americans.
In his latest video appearance, Gadahn called for the world to convert to Islam and praised the hijackers who carried out the September 11, 2001, attacks as "dedicated, strong-willed, highly motivated individuals with a burning concern for Islam and Muslims."
That video, issued days before the fifth anniversary of 9/11, featured both Gadahn and Osama bin Laden's second-in-command, Ayman al-Zawahiri.
In a September 2005 video, Gadahn referred to the 9/11 attacks as "the blessed raids on New York and Washington." According to the indictment, Gadahn, referring to prior attacks in Europe, said, "Yesterday, London and Madrid. Tomorrow, Los Angeles and Melbourne, Allah willing. And this time, don't count on us demonstrating restraint or compassion."
The FBI first put out an alert on Gadahn in 2004, saying he was "being sought in connection with possible terrorist threats against the United States," although the agency said it had "no information indicating this individual is connected to any specific terrorist activities."
FBI Director Robert Mueller last month said Gadahn was of "significant" importance to al Qaeda as a spokesman.
"People have seen his face. It's going to be very difficult for him to become an operative. But he is a contributor," Mueller said.
The charge of treason is rarely used because, in order to win a conviction, the Constitution requires testimony from "two witnesses to the same overt act," or a confession.
While McNulty would not discuss the evidence against Gadahn in detail, he said prosecutors were "very confident" they could meet the requirement for two witnesses, noting that "a number of individuals" could identify Gadahn as the person speaking in the al Qaeda videos.
California roots
Wednesday's indictment was handed down by a federal grand jury in Santa Ana, California. Gadahn's last known address in the United States was in Orange County, California.
Gadahn grew up in Riverside County, California, on a goat farm. His father was a rock guitarist before starting the farm with his wife.
Gadahn left when he was a teenager, according to his father. After a heavy-metal rock phase, he turned to Islam in 1995 and wrote about it on the Internet.
"As I began reading English translations of the Quran, I became more and more convinced of the truth and authenticity of Allah's teachings contained in those 114 chapters."
Gadahn's call on Americans to convert came with an explicit warning of what would happen if his call went unheeded.
"Anyone who pays any attention to the messages of the leaders of the jihad, like Sheik Osama bin Laden and Sheik Ayman al-Zawahiri, may God protect them, will know that they have been consistent in inviting the Americans and other unbelievers to Islam and in pressing upon them that they want the best for them. And making it clear to all that we have no choice but to fight those who fight us," Gadahn said.
Gadahn's family had no comment about the latest tape. In the past, his father has said Gadahn moved to Pakistan in 1998 and that the family lost touch with him in 2002.
CNN's Kelli Arena, Stan Wilson and Henry Schuster contributed to this report.

The Media Calls him Al Qaeda, but his Jewish Father calls him Adam Pearlman
By Curt Maynard
The CNN article[1] is entitled “American al Qaeda: U.S. should convert to Islam,” and if that wasn’t scary enough the article then quotes one of the speakers on the alleged “Al Qaeda” tape, a Jew named Adam Pearlman, “We invite all Americans and believers to Islam, whatever their role and status in Bush and Blair's world order…Decide today, because today could be your last day.” The article then quotes an alleged “expert,” on Al Qaeda and terrorism, a woman named Laura Mansfield, who says, “the time reference could indicate an attack is near. Muslims believe that non-believers should be given a chance to convert before they are attacked.” Booga booga!
What the CNN article never mentions is that Adam Gadhn, or “Azzam the American,” as the media likes to refer to him, is in reality a Jew from California named Adam Pearlman. I’m not kidding, reader… Azzam the American is a Jew. CNN isn’t the only “negligent” news agency, not a single one of the television networks have mentioned Gadahn’s/Pearlman’s pedigree, not one. The only news source I am aware of that has mentioned the fact that “Azzam the American” is Jewish, was the LA Times and the Washington Post, and then only in the most cryptic manner.
According to Xymphora, a very credible Internet blog that cited/sourced the Times and Post articles, the Times noted in a “characteristically coy” manner:
“In 1995, at 17, Adam Gadahn moved out of the family's Winchester home, his father said, because ‘he wanted out of the country and wanted to be in the city,’ where he lived with relatives in Garden Grove.[2]”
Xymphora then presents what is referred to as the details of the case, provided by the Washington Post, which the LA Times conveniently neglected to mention and that was exactly who these relatives were.
“While living with his grandparents in suburban Santa Ana, he made his first trip to the nearby mosque in 1995. He introduced himself as Yahya - the Arabic name for John the Baptist, revered as a great prophet in Islam.”
That’s right reader, Gadahn/Pearlman’s “relatives,” were actually his grandparents. Now here’s the interesting part, Pearlman’s grandfather was a sitting board member on the Anti-Defamation League, a notoriously anti-Gentile organization that has historically attacked anything and everything that could in any way be considered Christian, wholesome, virtuous, honorable, etc… The ADL is the primary force behind the assault on Mel Gibson,[3] anytime anyone utters what could in any way be perceived as anything less than pro-Jewish, Abraham Foxman, the Director of the ADL, immediately begins a well orchestrated smear campaign, designed to do one thing, force an apology, which can then be spun by the ADL into an admission that whatever errant individual they have targeted was wrong and probably anti-Semitic for saying whatever it was that “offended,” the ADL.
In a past essay I noted:
“In reality, the ADL is nothing more than a political arm of organized world Zionism. It is essentially an organization that is designed to smear the reputation of those that dare question the motives of Zionism and often, individual Zionists acting out of sheer selfishness or on behalf of their co-ethnics. The ADL has the ear of government, the judiciary and law enforcement, it has managed to insert itself in these venues by claiming to represent the underdog, which is generally understood to mean minorities in our present day and age… The ADL engages in defamation, in fact it has mastered the art of defamation – it can and does defame anyone that attempts to bring attention to issues that organized Zionism wants kept under wraps. Interestingly, Foxman and the ADL aren’t in the least bit hesitant to engage in this type of disingenuous behavior, in fact they do so in the open, relying on the media, which is disproportionately owned, operated and managed by Jewish Zionists to convey to the world the ADL’s goal while at the same time suppressing the League’s defamatory techniques.”[4]
Nothing has changed of course, the media continues its subterfuge, that is why Adam Gadahn’s true background remains unknown to the vast majority of Americans, the media refuses to tell viewers that Adam Gadahn, “Azzam the American,” is in reality a Californian Jew with a penchant for “death metal,” music[5] that just happened to “convert,” to Islam, and become an important player in Al Qaeda, so important in fact, that Al Qaeda’s number Two, Ayman al-Zawahiri himself, introduces “Azzam the American,” in the latest Al Qaeda taped threat.[6]
Wake up America, you’re being lied to.

CNN is not going to correct itself on this one. It never does. If people, "trust CNN", it may be because you can't tell the difference between distortion propaganda and honest coverage.

"Never tell the Truth" is one of the main principles of the Devil worshipping Jews. And "false flag" terrorist attacks to be blamed on their victims are a staple of Israli intelligance operations. When Jewish asassins blew up the King David Hotel in l948 they dressed as Arabs to try and divert the guilt from themselves. This latest lie and the 9-11-01 attacks are more of the same.

Yep. A real Al Quaeda operative wouldn't be that well-(over)fed. I guess they couldn't find a skinny one to do their fakery. Overweight Americans, whatever their affiliation, don't care about "wars on terror." They like TV, ice cream, and going to the mall.
When are these bozos going to realize that we aren't as stupid as they think we are? Hey, ADL: Keep making up this stupid shit, we'll keep laughing!

One day Americans are going to wake up and realize they don't have a free country anymore. Uhh, skip that. If they haven't figured it out by now, going back to the hints of why, who and what was behind the Kennedy assassination, they are just as much a victum as any other. America's people must be beyond sleepy. America is brain dead.

The FBI lists Gadahn's aliases as Abu Suhayb Al-Amriki, Abu Suhayb, Yihya Majadin Adams, Adam Pearlman, and Yayah.
But Adam Pearlmen is his REAL name! Adam is the grandson of the late Carl K. Pearlman; a prominent Jewish urologist in Orange County. Carl was also a member of the board of directors of the Anti-Defamation League, which was caught spying on Americans for Israel in 1993(1), much as AIPAC has been caught up in the more recent spy scandal(2).

This guy is nothing more then a Mossad double agent.
People these days just parrot what the media says, which is just sad.
Show me any major terrorist's name and I'll be more then happy to give you his real background, Major.
People, you should know that this so called "War on Terror" is just a racket (money, drugs, power, respect). These guys (Top Elites in the world) are no different then the mafia. I can provide you with book long answer on who these Top Islamists fundamilists really are and who is the backbone of every their organizations. This isn't no alien conspiracy, this is real stuff.

This image made me laugh pretty hard.
It looks very, very, photoshopped.
To be on topic, This "American Al-Qaeda" is exactly the same as the supposed Israeli soldier that got kidnapped and gave them excuse to attack Lebanon.
He likely is someone that is already dead and they are just using the image to give a face to their lie.
Conversely, he could be someone that is being held and they will shove him out into the public just prior to the elections to make themsleves look good to all the idiots.
