Va. neo-Nazi leader files for bankruptcy protection

ROANOKE, Va. (AP) An activist in the white supremacy movement who operates a rental home and construction business has sought Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
William White, commander of the Roanoke-based American National Socialist Workers Party, filed a petition last week in U.S. Bankruptcy Court listing assets of $1.9 million and liabilities of $1.4 million.
White said Tuesday that his financial difficulties resulted from medical bills for his wife and newborn daughter.
White used his Web site Overthrow.com last August to post the names and addresses of the defendants in the racially charged Jena Six case, including the words: ''Lynch the Jena 6.''
The FBI said it was investigating, but no action has been taken.
