2nd Man Arrested in
Loganville Attack

LOGANVILLE, Ga. (MyFOX ATLANTA) - Two suspects were under arrest Tuesday night for a violent home invasion. One man turned himself into police Tuesday morning.

The second man was nabbed by a state trooper Tuesday evening.

On Monday, police named two suspects in the brutal beating.

Investigators said they identified Corey Butler and J.J. Blackwell as two of the suspects in the home invasion.

Blackwell was arrested and taken to jail Tuesday.

Butler was taken into custody Tuesday evening, following a manhunt in Monroe.

Loganville police said both Blackwell and Butler both now face armed robbery and aggravated assault.

The victims of the home invasion, C.F. and Epsi Ewing were pistol whipped inside their home. Epsi Ewing was beaten so badly she suffered broken bones in her face, arms and hands.

The Loganville woman is scheduled to have facial reconstruction surgery to repair her injuries.

Police said they have yet to identify a third suspect in the case.
