Commanded by Rear Adm. Allen G. Myers, the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group also includes the guided-missile cruiser USS Anzio, guided-missile destroyer USS Ramage, guided-missile destroyer USS Mason and the fast-attack submarine USS Newport News.

An even better guess is that it will be a covert Israeli team that fires a missile that sinks a Carrier. I doubt that USA/Israel would leave it up to the Iranians or their missiles. If they need a Carrier sunk, the Israelis will do the job from within Iran and we will blame it on Iran.

It is physically impossible to sink an aircraft carrier without nuking it. It has too many compartments. The best they could do would be to list it, so it couldn't land or launch aircraft.

I believe that all heavy carriers are triple hulled . Anything short of a multi-megaton hydrogen bomb won't dissable them ( remember , they were designed in the 'cold war' , with the Soviet Arsenal in mind, they are built to fight through multiple nuclear events . )

If Iran has anything that will take out a carrier , they are not to be 'messed' with on any level .

The steel hulls would protect most of the crew . There is a flight control center deep in the bowels of the ship , that can launch and recover planes in the event that all the superstructure above the flight deck is destroyed. All the vulnerable electronics are made from gallium arsenide , not silicon . Gallium arsenide is immune to EMP from nuclear explosions .

I suspect that at the first hint of nuclear confrontation all command officiers would move to the internal flight control center and abandon the bridge .

A carrier won't sink if it is hit by a conventional payload, just like a skyscraper won't fall down if the top is on fire.

But the moment the lemmings see it happening on TV and the kike "experts" keeps droning on "the muslim terrorists did it" they will believe the impossible. It has happened before.

And you can be sure they'll find a passport blowing in the wind nearby with a very arabic sounding name on it.

Do you think the guys who actually found them would talk to anyone? Or are they still alive to discuss what THEY saw with their own eyes? Paper passports of two (2) of the alleged hijackers survived just fine and were supposedly found in the burning rubble of the Pentagon crash, and another three blocks from the WTC.......three blocks. I would bet good money to anyone who thinks he could contrive a way to launch a passport a distance of three city blocks.
