As Britain officially hit a recession, with thousands of employees this week being laid off or told they face the axe, one of the country's leading communal organisations today revealed that it too was being forced to make redundancies.
Jewish Care announced that up to 22 members of staff were at risk of losing their jobs as the charity seeks to balance rising costs with the vital task of providing health and social care assistance to the community.
