Ex-FEMA chief: Chertoff should be fired
Friday, March 3, 2006
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff should be fired for his handling of Hurricane Katrina, former federal emergency management chief Michael Brown said Thursday, accusing Chertoff of lacking disaster management knowledge.

Brown resigned from the Federal Emergency Management Agency in September amid intense criticism of his own performance after Katrina, the August 29 storm that left more than 1,300 dead in Louisiana and Mississippi.
Brown has blamed the poor federal response on the dysfunctional structure of the Department of Homeland Security, which became FEMA's parent agency when DHS was established in 2003. (Watch why Brown says Washington won't talk about what went wrong -- 6:52)
"It appears to me that, you know, when Chertoff does things like tells me that I've got to go to Baton Rouge and plop my butt down on a seat in Baton Rouge and run a disaster from there, I think that shows naivete about how disasters are run," Brown told CNN. "And you've either have to get with it, or move on."
Asked whether Chertoff should be dismissed, Brown said, "Well, I think so." He said FEMA had been "marginalized" by Chertoff and his predecessor, Tom Ridge, and that he had expected the agency's performance to suffer.
"I had been screaming internally that the budget cuts, the personnel cuts and what they were doing within Homeland Security was in effect marginalizing FEMA, and I predicted that at some point -- in a very specific memo to both Tom Ridge and to Chertoff -- that at some point, FEMA would fail," Brown said. "I just didn't expect to be in the middle of the failure."
The White House has stood behind Chertoff, who became Homeland Security secretary in February 2005. President Bush said Tuesday Chertoff was doing "a fine job."
But a House committee that investigated the response to Katrina criticized Chertoff for waiting two days after the storm hit to activate a national response plan -- and for naming Brown to lead the federal response, even though he was not trained to take on that role.
In testimony before a Senate committee in February, Brown said communicating with the White House through Chertoff was a waste of time and graded Chertoff's performance a C-minus. (Full story)
Chertoff days later flatly rejected the accusation that either DHS or the White House were disengaged as the storm deluged New Orleans and leveled much of coastal Mississippi. (Full story)
A videotape and transcripts of an emergency response meeting released Wednesday seemed to reinforce arguments that governments at all levels identified the potential dangers from the storm but were under-prepared for the devastation.

But just look at him. How could he do any wrong? He's shirt off.

Seriously, just based on appearances, the Cher Toff Man ought to be banished.
But just look at him.
Do I have to? Ugh!!!
He just might be the second coming of Lazar Kaganovich.
I'm starting to like this guy too.
I saw him on Blitzers ridiculous show, and he gave good solid answers.
He's pushing back! So for that alone, I'm liking the guy.
Go Brownie! You're doing a heckuva job!

Chertoff Has 'Few Days Left,' Sources Say

In the aftermath of the public revelation of the presidential "teleconference" and mounting criticism of the performance of Michael Chertoff, Administration sources told HUMAN EVENTS today that the secretary of Homeland Security has "only a few days left" in the Bush Cabinet.
As one source acquainted with the former federal prosecutor and U.S. appellate judge said under promise of anonymity, "They will give [Chertoff] a little time so it won't hurt his reputation too much, but he's probably got only a few days left."
For weeks, Chertoff has been under fire from Capitol Hill and the media for his performance during the disaster last year. In addition, more criticism has been fueled by his clash with former FEMA Director Michael Brown in the so-called post-Katrina "blame game." (See HUMAN EVENTS' exclusive report, "Brown: White House Made Me Scapegoat," in which he says, "They’ve got to keep me out there as a scapegoat. If they get rid of Chertoff, they have no new scapegoat. Then it goes to the White House.")
Last month, however, when I asked White House Press Secretary Scott McClellan if the President had confidence in the embattled Chertoff, he replied without hesitation "Absolutely." Even Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.), a very public critic of the Administration's handling of Katrina, stopped short of calling on Chertoff to leave.
But with the release of the teleconference two days ago and resultant media discussion of the President’s apparent silence as Brown informs him of pending disaster ("Is Brown Owed An Apology?" was the theme of a debate on Fox News last night), criticism of Chertoff and calls for his resignation have been enhanced.
Now, at least one source close to him says the end of his tenure as the nation’s second secretary of Homeland Security is near.
UPDATE -- 8:08 p.m.: A senior administration official is refuting my source’s comments that Chertoff’s days are numbered.
“The President offered strong words of support for Secretary Chertoff on Tuesday in an interview with Elizabeth Vargas. Secretary Chertoff is serving in one of the most difficult positions in government and he is doing an excellent job.”

But did Chertoff really fuck up Katrina or was it engineered as a NWO test for martial law, gun confiscation and "mass relocations" as the Alex Jones types claim and Brownie just wasn't and isn't in on it? It does appear that Brownie is showing some balls and isn't playing nice. Hopefully, he's had an awakening and is saying "FUCK ZOG!"

Here's some food for thought...

"Evidence linking these Israelis to 9/11 is classified. I cannot tell you about evidence that has been gathered. It's classified information."
-US official quoted in Carl Cameron's Fox News report on the Israeli spy ring and its connections to 9-11.
The higher-up kikes have decided they need to have a goy frontman now for Homeland Security, in view of what Homeland Security will do next. It's imperative that a goy will seem responsible for the next unconstitional acts of terror against the American people.
"People, look at the evidence the truth is there you just have to look for it!!!!!" - Joe Vialls
