Charges Dropped Against Kent Island Student

Charges against a Kent Island High School student have been dropped. Eighteen-year-old Bruce Settle was facing charges after a mother claimed he made a racial threat to her son. Officials say Settle made a rope into a noose and said to the student, "Did you wanna try this?"
The Queen Anne's States Attorney dropped the charges because he says there wasn't any evidence of a crime. Officials found inconsistencies in the stories when they began investigating.
