The nuclear testing (big event) in North Korea that the media was hysterically claiming was going to happen Saturday didn't happen. (Something can still happen but I doubt it)

China has successfully played Trump:

Campaigning Trump threatens China with trade war (tariffs, etc.)

Trump becomes president.

China then lets NK off the leash and they fire some rockets into the sea of japan. Both the US and NK thump their chests.*

Trump negotiates with China to put NK back on the leash. China Agrees for no trade war (tariffs, etc.)

The US gets absolutely nothing out of the deal. Trump publicly admits he is breaking his economic promises.

China now knows how to manipulate the great chess player for the reminder of his single term.

Trump declares victory. The media and the alwaystrumpers praise him.

*Also note: some are suggesting that the Syrian strike was meant to threaten NK. If the 4D chess theorists are correct, then that means that Trump broke one of his most important campaign promises and ruined relations with Russia because China was manipulating him.
