brands including Coca-Cola (CCEP), Disney (DIS) and Kraft (KHC) are facing calls to boycott Twitter
more than two dozen civil society groups
Other organizations spearheading the letter campaign include the technology advocacy organization Accountable Tech and the feminist group UltraViolet. Meanwhile, the Center for Countering Digital Hate, the National Hispanic Media Coalition and the digital rights group Free Press also signed the letter in support of the effort.
If the right had any sense these "civil society" groups should face some severe blow back for their shameless attacks on the 1st Amendment. Because right now it's just these NGOs, next it's the Ministry of Truth (which is currently being formed), then it's all these groups essentially controlling all communications.
Even Elon Musks' take over of Twitter isn't going to be enough.
>Elon Musk wants to 'authenticate all real humans'

This will (possibly) eventually lead to a know-your-customer type law, similar to how you have to send in your drivers license and other information at coinbase and other crypo trading platforms.
But getting back to the "civil society" groups, it's these groups for which action needs to be taken against, not just a Tucker Carlson-esque scolding. The corporations actually doing the boycott are really quite irrelevant.
