According to reports, a University of Knoxville (Memphis) student was admitted to the hospital Saturday after he allegedly ingested too much alcohol through a butt enema. The unresponsive student, 20-year-old Alexander P. Broughton, was brought to University of Tennessee Medical Center by several young men around 1:30 a.m. Saturday.

Reports state that Broughton had a BAC “well over” 0.40 percent when he was brought to the hospital after attending a party at the Pi Kappa Alpha house.

The Pi Kappa Alpha house has since been administratively suspended for the last 30 days pending an investigation according to Knoxnews.com. The story has taken a bizarre turn, with the father of the student, Mark Broughton, claiming that the police mischaracterized the incident in their initial reports.
