Hospitals were getting bonuses of approx $13,000 dollars for everyone that got hooked up to a ventilator, and 5,000 for cause of death being Covid. The people that died from covid had pre-exiting conditions/ that expalins why the number of people that died was about the same as before covid.

The hospitals billing medicare and the government for covid and ventilator in a lot of cases was profiteering by the medical profession plain and simple. Now they're vaccine sales people for Moderna.
