Jeb Bush revealed that he would murder Hitler if he had the ability to travel back in time.

In an interview with The Huffington Post Bush said that he was asked recently in an email if he would kill baby Hitler after a New York Times Magazine survey found that 42 percennt of those polled would, 30% would not and 28% were unsure.

Bush said he had yet to respond to the question, and took the opportunity to do so in the interview, saying; 'Hell yeah, I would! You gotta step up, man!'

The Republican hopeful then acknowledged that there could be major complications if he were in fact able to time travel and kill baby Hitler.

'The problem with going back in history and doing that, as we know from the series - what’s the series with Michael J. Fox called? The Back to the Future series - is that it could have a dangerous effect on everything else,' said Bush.

He quickly added however that despite that possibility, he would still kill Hitler.

Bush - like 42% of those polled - believes by going back in time and murdering the German dictator when he was still just a child, there is a strong chance that World War II and the concentration camps may have never happened, saving millions of lives.

There is however the chance for perhaps worse atrocities due to the butterfly effect.

The butterfly effect states that small changes to the initial conditions of a situation can result if large differences down the line.

Bush himself is no doubt hoping for some large changes in the Republican race for the presidency as the former governor of Florida finds himself trailing not only frontrunners Donald Trump and Ben Carson but also Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

He was campaigning in New Hampshire on Monday and will now be heading to Milwaukee for Tuesday's Republican debate hosted by Fox Business Network.

Only those candidates who were able to meet the 2.5 percent polling cutoff will appear during the primetime debate, with Bush, Carson, Trump, Rubio and Cruz being joined by John Kasich, Rand Paul and Carly Fiorina.

The moderators for the evening will be Fox Business Network anchors Maria Bartiromo and Neil Cavuto along with Gerard Baker, the editor-in-chief of the Wall Street Journal.

It begins at 9pm, after the 7pm debate featuring Chris Christie, Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal and Rick Santorum.

Lindsey Graham and George Pataki were not invited to participate in the event.
