This time in Kentucky. Trump won this district big. However, Kentucky Democraps have controlled the state house for years until 2016.

Similar to how Missouri was. Missouri used to have pro gun democrats in some areas of the state. They were more to the right on social issues but were pro labor.

Kentucky recently passed right to work which might have been a factor why she won this seat. She previously held this seat and lost it in 2016. A lot in Kentucky are still mad about right to work passing and it caused their governor to have low approval ratings also.
