It's just past 2:00 PM Denver time and the markets are closed. The DJIA is at 7997. The markets usually take up to 7 minutes or so to settle out, so it may creep above 8,000, but for at least this shinning moment the DOW is under 8,000.
The Dollar is well up. (Don't ask why, I can't explain it, when the DOW drops, lately the dollar has risen.)
Spot oil is at $48.62.
DJIA seems to be holding at 7997.44.
