Doctors Without Borders refused to help negotiate for the release of Kayla Mueller from her ISIS captors, her parents have said.

Mueller, a humanitarian worker from Prescott, Arizona, had been helping out at a Doctors Without Borders (also known as Médecins Sans Frontières and MSF) hospital before being kidnapped by the terror group from a vehicle belonging to the charity in Syria.

She was held hostage for 18 months, kept as a sex slave in a dungeon, until she died last year.

Mueller, who would have turned 28 earlier this month, was also repeatedly forced to have sex with Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the terror group.

Now, her parents have revealed in an interview with ABC News that airs on Friday that the group, which provides aid to people who need it in war-torn nations, refused to speak with them for months and turned down their plea for help freeing their daughter.
